I pushed prototype code to our internal repo. Our front-end engineer cloned it and integrated a full CRUD API in one day.

That workflow used to take weeks.

When I asked how it felt, he said going from Figma to API usually means hunting for incompatibilities. Having the repo meant he could just build.

No translation layer. No friction.

That didn't happen because I can code. It happened because I understood the shape of the data before I designed the shape of the screen.
